Job Summary:

The Role is responsible for mapping the allocated market and identifying potential clients for various products through Sales Calls; for contributing to Market Intelligence; generating leads; creating product awareness and for maintaining relationship with all prospects.

Role & responsibilities

Sales Management

  • To identify and target prospective industries, companies, and demographics that are likely to require accommodations and event venues within the assigned regions.
  • Develop a contact plan to outreach the clients 3 to 6 months prior to their anticipated event date. This plan may include initial outreach, follow-up communications and personalized touches to maintain engagement, to provide updates, answer questions and address any concerns the client may have. This helps to build rapport and reinforce the value proposition of booking with Ramoji Film City.
  • Utilize a multi-channel approach, including email campaigns, cold calling, and social media out reach.

Database Management

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive data base comprising extends and potential clients.
  • Creates a strong customer database of existing and new clients and shares the same with the Corporate office on regular intervals.
  • Provide regular reports to the Corporate Office containing daily, weekly, and monthly updates on market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
  • Regulary share customer data and insights with the Corporate Office for strategic decision making.

Market Intelligence

  • Understanding market trends, gathering information on industry trends such as shifts in consumer behavior, emerging market segments, and changes in demand patterns.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events related to MICE, Weddings and Tourism sectors. Show case Ramoji Film Citys offerings through stall exhibitions, presentations and networking opportunities to connect with the potential clients.
  • Promote Ramoji Film City as a Holistic Destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), Weddings, Day Events, Leisure and Educational Groups.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and appeal of Ramoji Film City in the target market.

Client Management

  • Reaches out to prospective clients to generate sponsorships for various products / service of Ramoji Film City.
  • Research and identify key stake holders in the tourism industry, including Government bodies such as Tourism Industry, associations, and prominent tour operators.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven sales professional with strong experience in hospitality, tourism, MICE, and event sales, possessing excellent market knowledge, networking skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Hotel Management / Travel & Tourism / Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of proven experience in hotel sales, MICE, tourism, or event management industries.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, client acquisition, and account management.
  • Experience in handling

    orporate clients, associations, government bodies, and event planners.
  • Exposure to database management, lead generation, and market research.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) with fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage with clients, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies, negotiate effectively, and close business deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms .
  • Analytical mindset to interpret market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and target-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, trade shows, and industry networking events.
