The current opening is for a techno-functional Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate leads, build relationships, and drive sales of our software solutions tailored to educational institutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the education technology landscape, and a proven track record in B2B sales.


We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Techno-Functional Sales Specialist to join our sales team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to effectively communicate the value of our technology solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of both technology and business processes, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into tangible business benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand the functionalities and capabilities of our technology solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth discussions with potential clients to assess their business needs and challenges.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical queries Incident/requests, and provide necessary assistance
  • Translate client requirements into technical specifications and demonstrate how our solutions align with their needs.
  • Act as a consultant, providing insights and recommendations on how our technology can optimize their business processes.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Providing Software training to software users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted collateral and sales materials that effectively communicate the benefits of our technology solutions.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position our solutions competitively in the market.
  • Track and report on sales activities, including pipeline status, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a techno-functional or technical sales role, preferably in the technology/software industry.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of software architecture, integration, and implementation processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical mind-set with a focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple client engagements.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, presentations, and conferences.
