Role Overview

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing, branding, and internal use
• Create videos independently, including concept understanding, basic scripting, and visual flow
• Add transitions, effects, graphics, captions, music, and sound effects as required
• Edit reels, short-form videos, promos, corporate videos, and explainer videos
• Collaborate with marketing/content teams to understand requirements and deadlines
• Ensure brand consistency in visuals, fonts, colors, and tone
• Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Required Skills

• Proficiency in video editing tools such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software

• Ability to

  shoot and create videos

  (basic camera handling and framing knowledge preferred)
• Good understanding of video formats, resolutions, and export settings
• Creative eye for detail, storytelling, and timing
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in social media video editing (reels, shorts, ads)
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations
• Understanding of audio syncing and color correction
• Portfolio or sample work is mandatory
