Sales Manager - Packaged Food

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the packaged food sector. Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets will be crucial. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers will also be a significant aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly - Preparing and presenting regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management - Collaborating with other departments to align strategies and ensure seamless execution - Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent service - Managing sales and margin operating budgets efficiently - Negotiating contracts and agreements with key clients and partners - Identifying training needs for the sales team and implementing development plans Qualifications Required: - Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the packaged food industry or FMCG sector - Strong leadership, motivation, and coaching abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation skills - Ability to analyze sales data to develop data-driven strategies - Customer service orientation, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills - Solid understanding of the food service industry, distribution channels, and market dynamics within Modern Trade, General Trade, and HORECA Sales channels Additional Company Details: This is a full-time position with a fixed shift from Monday to Friday, requiring in-person work at the designated location.
