Position Overview

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, including contractors, builders, and architects.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead project sales initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and report on sales forecasts and results.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to enhance team performance.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the companys products and services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 8 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales and project sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and project oversight.
