Sales Manager - Luxury Goods

The Sales Manager position based in Malad, Mumbai requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with experience in the gemstone or luxury goods industry. As a Sales Manager, you will lead the sales team and drive revenue growth for business-to-business sales expansion. Your responsibilities will include developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing wholesale operations. To excel in this role, you must have a deep understanding of gemstones, domestic and international markets, as well as wholesale operations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, such as jewelry manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers, will be crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying new markets and customer segments within the B2B segment. Key responsibilities of the Sales Manager include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, nurturing client relationships, mentoring the sales team, representing the company at industry events, preparing sales forecasts and reports, monitoring market trends, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with marketing and product teams on branding and promotional strategies. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Gemology, or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the gemstone, jewelry, or luxury goods industry, strong knowledge of colored gemstones, diamonds, or precious stones, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, willingness to travel as needed, multilingual skills (especially in languages relevant to target markets), and a professional certification (e.g., GIA, FGA) would be advantageous.,
