Job Description — Sales Manager (Lights Library) Position: Sales Manager Location: Hyderabad Experience: 2–5 years (retail / interior / lighting preferred) Salary: Competitive + Monthly Incentives + Retention Bonus Reporting To: Founder Role Overview We are looking for a Sales Manager who will handle daily customer walk-ins and enquiries at the Lights Library showroom and also connect with Architects to set meetings for the founder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, communication, and long-term stability in a growing company. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Walk-ins & Showroom Sales • Greet customers warmly and understand their lighting needs • Show products, explain features, and recommend solutions • Prepare quotations and follow up to close sales • Convert walk-ins into successful orders • Maintain showroom presentation and product knowledge 2. Enquiry Handling • Respond to incoming enquiries via WhatsApp, calls, Instagram, and website • Maintain a daily enquiry tracker • Ensure all leads receive timely follow-up • Convert enquiries into showroom visits or sales 3. Architect Calling & Appointment Setting • Cold call architects to introduce Lights Library • Fix appointments for the founder • Maintain architect CRM/contact sheet • Follow up regularly without being pushy • Build strong professional relationships 4. Reporting & Systems • Daily enquiry + follow-up report • Weekly sales funnel update • Monthly sales summary • Maintain disciplined follow-ups 5. Customer Satisfaction • Ensure professional behaviour at all times • Assist with after-sales coordination • Provide honest, quality suggestions to help customers choose better ⸻ Requirements • 2–5 years experience in sales (lighting/interiors preferred) • Strong communication and follow-up skills • Comfortable talking to customers and calling architects • Basic computer knowledge (WhatsApp, Excel/Sheets) • Trustworthy, polite, and committed to staying long-term • Stable job history preferred • Positive attitude and willingness to learn ⸻ What We Offer • Monthly salary + sales incentives • Retention bonuses at 18 and 36 months • Training on lighting products • A supportive work environment • Opportunity to grow with the brand
