Sales Manager -Industrial Sales-Cable Industries

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing and driving the sales and marketing strategies of our industrial cable products. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with in-depth technical knowledge of cable and extensive experience in the industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, increasing market share, and achieving sales targets.

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to promote our LT Power cables, HT Power cables,Control Cables Instrumentation Cables, Fire Survival Cables to various industries and customers.
• Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.
• Identify and target new business opportunities, key accounts, and potential customers, fostering strong relationships and driving growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality control, to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands, providing insights for product development and marketing strategies.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BTech) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B.Com Graduate.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles within the cable manufacturing industry/ heavy electrical products.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Computer Applications and Software tools- MS Office, CRMs, Etc
• Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a strong drive for success and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry professionals, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of cables
