Job Description

We are hiring for a Female Hotel Banquet Sales Manager, who will be responsible for driving revenue by selling banquet and event spaces to clients. Her duties include responding to inquiries, creating proposals and contracts, coordinating with internal departments like catering and housekeeping, managing client relationships, and overseeing event execution to ensure client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Sales and client management

· Respond to all banquet and event inquiries and provide information on spaces, services, and pricing.

· Develop customized event proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients.

· Conduct site tours for prospective clients and manage relationships throughout the event process.

· Negotiate contracts and ensure all client needs are met.

· Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

2. Event coordination

· Collaborate with internal departments such as catering, housekeeping, and culinary to ensure the seamless execution of events.

· Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and decor.

· Review and approve Banquet Event Orders to determine staffing, setup, and other requirements.

· Manage event budgets and monitor costs effectively.

3. Strategy and analysis

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

· Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze market trends to adjust strategies.

· Participate in marketing and promotional activities to boost banquet sales.

Education and experience

· Bachelor's degree:

A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

· Proven sales experience:

Candidates need experience in sales, ideally with a focus on corporate and banquet events.

· Event planning background:

Experience in event planning or a similar role is a significant plus.

· Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales is a requirement.

Skills and abilities

· Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as strong interpersonal skills, is essential for client interaction.

· Negotiation:

The ability to negotiate contracts and close deals is crucial for meeting sales targets.

· Customer service:

A strong customer-centric mindset is vital for ensuring client satisfaction.

· Organization:

Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Technical proficiency:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management or CRM software is typically expected.

· Problem-solving:

The ability to think on your feet and resolve issues that arise during event planning and execution is important.

Knowledge

· Industry knowledge:

A strong understanding of the hospitality industry, food and beverage trends, and event execution is a must.

· Local regulations:

Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to banquets and events is also beneficial.

Salary is no bar for deserving candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
