Job Description – Sales Manager (Citroën Showroom)

Position: Sales Manager
Location: [ASANSOL]
Industry: Automobile – Passenger Vehicles (Citroen)
Reports To: Dealer Principal / General Manager

Role Overview:

The Sales Manager will lead the Citroën showroom sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets, ensure excellent customer satisfaction, and drive showroom profitability. The role requires strong leadership, customer handling, and strategic sales management aligned with Citroën brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the showroom sales team to achieve individual and overall sales targets.
  • Plan and implement monthly sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience from enquiry to delivery, maintaining high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
  • Monitor showroom walk-ins, test drives, bookings, and conversions.
  • Train and develop the sales team on Citroën product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for local promotions and events.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to develop competitive strategies.
  • Handle high-value customers, corporate tie-ups, and fleet sales opportunities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, pricing, finance, and insurance processes are followed.
  • Maintain close liaison with Citroën India for reporting, targets, and compliance with brand guidelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling ability.
  • Sound knowledge of automobile sales processes, preferably in premium passenger vehicles.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer and corporate relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / MBA preferred.
  • 5–8 years of automobile sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in premium car brands will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
