Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive growth for Festo’s automation solutions across diverse industry segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and realizing automation projects, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and meet regional targets for Festo’s product portfolio
  • Identify, acquire, and manage automation projects across industries
  • Proactively handle customers and provide expert consultation on products and applications
  • Generate and follow up on high-quality leads, negotiate deals, and secure repeat business
  • Collaborate with technical and application teams to deliver customized solutions
  • Monitor market trends and transfer relevant insights to the organization
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives and customer engagement plans
  • Ensure seamless coordination for sales planning, forecasting, and deviation management
  • Use CRM software effectively to manage customer data and sales pipeline
  • Support logistics for product delivery and after-sales service coordination

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation sales or a similar technical sales role
  • Sound knowledge of automation concepts, particularly in pneumatics and motion control
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and present complex technical concepts clearly
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
  • Leadership and team coordination capabilities are a plus
