Job Description

As a Sales Manager with around 5 years of experience in the Freight forwarding or Logistics industry, you will be responsible for business development, maintaining existing business relationships, identifying sales leads, pitching new clients, and fostering strong working relationships with new contacts. Your role will be crucial in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. The company, established in 2005, is an ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) & ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) certified organization known for its strong business ethics. Specializing in the carriage of (LCL) Less than Container Load shipments, it holds the distinction of being the largest operator in India in this category. The company has received accolades such as the Best Consolidator of the Year All India for ten consecutive years from 2010 to 2019. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with both current and prospective clients, cultivating new sales leads specifically in LCL Export, selling and negotiating services, onboarding new customers, ensuring efficient movement of customer freight in collaboration with the team, providing necessary follow-up and ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting other segments by acquiring new customers. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field, while an MBA would be considered a plus. A proven track record of success in sales management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is essential. You should possess strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a sales team, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of freight forwarding processes, regulations, and industry best practices. As a strategic thinker, you should be able to analyze market trends and develop innovative sales strategies. The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, travel as needed, and demonstrate strong business acumen and decision-making skills are also crucial for success in this role. If you are a deserving candidate, the package offered is 10-12 LPA, slightly negotiable based on your qualifications and experience.
