Job Description

The Sales Head will be responsible for driving overall revenue growth, building and leading a high-performing sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring strong client relationships. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver consistent sales results.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure achievement.

2. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to improve performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
  • Motivate the team to achieve targets through incentives, coaching, and performance improvement plans.

3. Business Development

  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Lead high-value negotiations and close key deals.
  • Explore partnerships, collaborations, and new business verticals.

4. Sales Operations & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and present reports to management.
  • Forecast sales pipelines and ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Implement best practices, tools, and CRM systems to optimize sales processes.

5. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and market changes.
  • Suggest product/service improvements based on customer feedback and market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in EdTech / Training Industry (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
