Job Description


Seeking a dynamic and experienced leader as a sales head for our India operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in semiconductor sales and distribution, a strong customer network, and the ability to lead the local sales team. Youll be responsible for revenue, partnerships, and growth strategy in the Indian market.

Role Overview

The India Sales Manager will lead the sales team across India region, driving sales growth with the help of local supplier relationships which is pivotal to the requirement. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in semiconductor sales and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in India.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal coverage and performance through regular communication and joint planning sessions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local and regional marketing teams to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the SEA leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 15~20 years of experience in semiconductor distribution sales.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing sales teams across India.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the semiconductor market, with established relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and system integrators.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electronics, MBA preferred but not must.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally to SEA headquarters.
