Job Title/Position: Sales Associate

1. Role Overview

Spencer’s Retail, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group, is a multi-format Indian retailer dealing

with several categories including fashion, home, electronics, and groceries. This JD is for the position

of “Sales Associates” responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintain store standards,

support sales, and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations. The role will act as the face of the

brand and contributes to creating a positive shopping experience for all customers.

2. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service









Greet customers warmly and assist them with queries and product selection.

Provide accurate product information, offers, and store policies.

Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when required.

Understanding of SOP.

Sales & Product Promotion







Drive sales by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products.

Support upselling, cross-selling, and promotion of new launches.

Meet daily/weekly sales targets as assigned.

Store Operations









Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards on the shop floor.

Ensure products are properly displayed, tagged, and replenished.

Participate in stock counting, inward/outward stock checks, and inventory control.

Assist in billing and cashier desk operations as required.

Compliance & Safety





Follow all SOPs related to cash handling & store security

Ensure adherence to company policies, grooming standards, and attendance norms.

Team Collaboration

Coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations.































Support during peak hours, promotions, events, and new store set-ups.

3. Key Skills Required

Strong communication and customer handling skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Basic numerical ability for billing and inventory tasks.

Team player with problem-solving mindset.

Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and festive seasons.

4. Qualifications & Experience

Minimum: 10th pass (For butcher : any school pass certificate)

Fresher with good communication skills.

Age limit 18 - 35 years

5. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long hours.

Comfortable with lifting light to medium weight stock items.

6. Work Shift

Rotational shift system of 9 hours including break time (weekly rotation).

Weekly off as per roaster (on week days)

Extended working hours during festivals/sales events may be required. **

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
