Job Summary

The IT Sales Executive plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and promoting IT products and services. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, sales expertise, and strategic communication to help clients find the right technology solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Present, promote, and sell IT products, software solutions, and services to prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demos, and proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design, smooth delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while tracking progress in CRM tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand visibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (1–4 years) in IT sales, software sales, or technology solutions selling.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, cloud solutions, software applications, or IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude and results-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or enterprise IT solutions.
  • Existing network of business clients in the IT sector.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
