Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage new B2G (Business-to-Government) clients.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing prompt and effective support.
  • Conduct live demonstrations and walkthroughs of the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and related services.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Create and deliver customized client pitches, proposals, and presentations.
  • Lead deal negotiations, ensuring both profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to innovative sales strategies to accelerate business growth.

Market & Industry Research

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify growth opportunities within the B2G segment.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and updates in GeM policies and procedures.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support outreach and lead generation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and delivery teams for smooth project execution.
  • Represent GeMTech PARAS at industry events, trade shows, and professional networking forums.

Administration & Reporting

  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain client data.
  • Provide regular reports on performance metrics, client feedback, and market insights.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3 years of experience in B2G or institutional sales.
  • Language:

    Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory. Preference will be given to native or professionally proficient speakers.
  • Sales Expertise:

    Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close high-value government contracts.
  • Communication Skills:

    Strong written and verbal communication; excellent negotiation abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools for online demos.
  • Analytical Thinking:

    Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative:

    Self-driven, client-oriented, and proactive in approach.
  • Teamwork:

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events as required.
