Sales Engineer

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their automation and conveying needs, and offering technically sound solutions. This role blends technical expertise with strong sales acumen to promote Transcon’s products and systems across industries such as automotive, food processing, packaging, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, cold calls, and networking.
• Understand client requirements, evaluate site conditions, and recommend suitable Transcon products and systems.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering team to provide technical proposals, drawings, and quotations.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and convert them into orders.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and new opportunities.
• Coordinate with the project and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely execution.
• Maintain daily visit reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates in CRM.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 0-1 y (fresher) years in sales of conveyors, industrial automation, or material handling equipment preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of conveyor systems, belts, and automation products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven with a result-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,500.00 per month
