Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting Dec Industries’ formwork and scaffolding products. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with strong technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Promote and sell formwork and scaffolding systems to contractors, builders, and consultants.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable formwork solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services.
Coordinate with the design and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
Conduct market research to understand competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
Follow up on quotations, tenders, and payment collections.
Submit regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management.
Requirements
Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: 0–3 years of experience in sales / business development, preferably in formwork, scaffolding, construction materials, or related products.
Strong technical understanding of civil/construction components.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu and nearby regions for client meetings.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
