Production Engineer - PEB

Job Title: Production Engineer – PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings)

Location: DEC Industries, Aipoor Factory
Role Overview:
The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the manufacturing operations of PEB components, ensuring quality, productivity, and timely delivery. The role involves process monitoring, manpower handling, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities for PEB components (columns, rafters, beams, purlins, etc.).
• Supervise fabrication, welding, cutting, and assembly operations as per drawings and quality standards.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines while maintaining efficiency.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
• Monitor raw material availability and raise requirements to Stores/Purchase.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and ensure waste reduction.
• Maintain proper records of production output, machine utilization, and manpower allocation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and process parameters.
• Troubleshoot production issues and suggest process improvements.
• Train and guide operators and shop-floor staff for skill development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, 5S, and factory discipline.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of PEB manufacturing processes (cutting, welding, drilling, fabrication, painting).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience in production planning & execution.
• Leadership and manpower management skills.
• Knowledge of welding standards, quality checks, and safety practices.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years in PEB / Steel Structures / Heavy Fabrication Industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
