Job Description

As a Sales Development Specialist at this biotechnology company, your role involves driving revenue growth for specific strategic products or product groups within the designated market territory. You will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships, leveraging technical expertise, and implementing new strategic products to meet sales targets. Collaboration with Account Management & Application Specialist is key to managing the Opportunity lifecycle effectively. Your proficiency in utilizing the CRM system (SFDC) will be crucial for managing sales activities and customer interactions efficiently. **Main Responsibilities & Tasks:** - Initiate and manage the complete sales process within the assigned territory and strategic product range, in coordination with Account Managers - Utilize SFDC to handle leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information - Analyze SFDC data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and monitor sales performance - Maintain CRM with relevant customer and sales opportunity information - Achieve product / product group targets by focusing on seeding and spec in activities to drive sales growth - Provide technical and commercial support to Account Managers and customers - Manage opportunity funnel and account portfolio to align with short- and long-term product / market goals - Identify and execute action plans to develop business for strategic products or defined markets based on Sales and Sartorius strategy **Qualification & Skills:** - Academic degree in life sciences or engineering (higher education level is advantageous) - Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in laboratory / process-based Life Science - Proficiency in using SFDC and other CRM tools - Relevant technical knowledge and industry expertise (e.g., Biotech, Pharma) - Experience in selling capital instrumentation and/or consumables/reagents to clients across different sectors is a plus - Result-oriented, highly motivated, and customer service-oriented - Ability to address complex issues through innovation and processes - Excellent communication skills You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for strategic products within the designated market territory. Your proactive approach, technical expertise, and collaboration skills will be essential in contributing to the company's success in the biotechnology industry.,
