Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative at Zubcon, your role involves identifying, engaging, and converting manufacturing companies into Zubcon customers. You will play a key part in transforming how manufacturers manage their inventory operations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Generation & Prospecting - Identify and research potential manufacturing clients across various industries such as automotive, tractors, EV, etc. - Build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold outreach, networking, and referrals - Utilize digital tools and platforms for lead generation and tracking prospect engagement - Sales & Relationship Management - Conduct product demonstrations showcasing Zubcon's distributed inventory management capabilities - Address manufacturing pain points related to inventory visibility, production planning, and supply chain management - Present tailored solutions to meet client challenges and business objectives - Negotiate contracts, close deals, and maintain healthy profit margins - Market Intelligence & Strategy - Stay updated on manufacturing industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape - Gather market feedback to inform product development and positioning strategies - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials - Client Success & Expansion - Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients - Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts - Maintain long-term relationships to drive customer retention and referrals Qualifications Required: Experience & Background - 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, manufacturing, or supply chain technology - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders Skills & Competencies - Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil/Hindi - Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities - Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics - Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, or supply chain processes (preferred) - Ability to translate technical features into business value propositions Personal Attributes - Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset - Resilient and persistent in the face of rejection - Strategic thinker with attention to detail - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment - Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu and other key manufacturing hubs Zubcon, India's 1st distributed inventory platform for manufacturers, provides real-time visibility and control over raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across every plant, vendor, and jobworker.
