Job Description Manual Tester (1–3 Years Experience) Position: Manual Tester Experience: 1–3 Years Location: [Remote / Hybrid] Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our applications by identifying and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Understand PRD’s and acceptance criteria to design effective test cases. Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing. Log, track, and verify bugs in the defect management system (JIRA) Validate fixes and re-test issues to ensure resolution. Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements. Prepare and maintain test documentation including test cases, test reports, and checklists. Identify areas for improvement in processes and suggest QA best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC. Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports. Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Understanding of functional, regression, and usability testing. Experience testing in SaaS-based products and ERP applications. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Good knowledge on Agile Methodology Nice to Have Knowledge of automation concepts (Selenium, Cypress, etc.). Familiarity with logistics or transport management systems.
