Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic Sales Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering critical information from schools, qualifying leads, and collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams during the pre-sales phase. Your efforts will directly impact lead conversion and business growth by ensuring smooth coordination and timely communication across functions. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Information Gathering

• Initiate phone calls to school stakeholders to collect information regarding their needs and current systems. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the information gathered in internal trackers. 
• Share relevant insights with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Tech, Implementation, etc.) to aid in informed decision-making. 

2. Lead Qualification

• Assess and qualify incoming school leads based on predefined criteria. 
• Conduct initial need analysis to determine fit with our offerings. 
• Clearly communicate lead status and key details to internal teams for alignment. 
• Schedule product demos for qualified leads in coordination with the sales team. 
• Provide timely updates to the sales team and assist in ensuring smooth hand-offs for successful conversions. 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in inside sales, customer coordination, client services, or a similar role—preferably within the

  ed-tech industry

  and/or

  B2B

  domain. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
