Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Location : Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Tripur, Ludhiana, Department : Sales Reports to : Sales Manager Experience : 3-5 years in sales, preferably B2B SaaS or technology products. Job Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify new sales opportunities. As the first point of contact for inbound and outbound prospects, you will play a critical role in the growth of our sales pipeline by nurturing leads and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team. Key Responsibilities · Conduct research to identify potential customers and key decision-makers · Reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels · Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings for Account Executives · Maintain accurate records of activities and interactions in the CRM · Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and targeting · Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings booked · Provide feedback to improve messaging, outreach strategies, and product positioning Key Skills Required · Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with prospects, explaining the value proposition, and building rapport. · Prospecting: Identifying and researching potential customers, often using various online tools and platforms. · CRM Proficiency: Using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage leads, track interactions, and organize the sales pipeline. · Lead Qualification: Assessing leads to determine their suitability for further sales engagement, based on criteria like budget, authority, and need. · Time Management & Organization: Prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and maintaining a well-organized pipeline. · Channel & Pipeline Management: Understanding and utilizing different channels to reach prospects and manage the flow of leads through the sales pipeline · Adaptability: Adjusting communication and strategies based on the needs of the prospect and the changing market · Coachability: Being receptive to feedback and willing to learn and improve. · Relationship Building: Establishing strong connections with prospects to foster long-term relationships. Problem-Solving Skills · Active Listening : Understand a prospect’s pain points by listening closely to their responses · Pain Point Identification : Uncover customer challenges and map them to relevant SaaS features · Qualification Logic : Use frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC to assess lead quality efficiently · Objection Handling : Tactfully respond to objections and reframe conversations to create value · Lead Prioritization: Use data (firmographics, intent signals) to focus on high-potential accounts · Collaboration : Work with sales and marketing to refine targeting and improve conversion rates · Value Communication : Clearly articulate how SaaS features solve business problems Expected Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or related field& Additional certifications in sales or SaaS technologies are a plus. Language proficiency: English, Hindi, Proficient (Verbal and Written) mandatory for domestic sales outreach in the Indian market and local Language is plus.
