We’re looking for someone who thrives on chaos, codes hands-on when needed, recruits top engineers, and builds systems that scale — from zero to millions. You’ll work closely with the founder and drive engineering across the board: backend, frontend, AI, infra/devops, and product velocity . What You’ll Do Lead : Build and lead a world-class engineering team from scratch — backend, frontend, AI/ML, DevOps. Own the stack : Architect, ship, and optimize systems across Java, Spring Boot, Python, Angular, Postgres, NLP, AI Agents, Langchain, LLMs, Voice Agents and cloud infra (AWS/GCP). Ship fast : Set up high-velocity development practices that balance scrappy MVPs with long-term stability. Hire smart : Help build a top-tier engineering culture — with smart hiring, strong mentorship, and hands-on code reviews. Bridge product tech : Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to launch new features rapidly and reliably. Make technical bets : Choose the right tech and architecture to scale the platform securely and cost-effectively. You Should Have 8–12 years of total experience with at least 2+ years in a tech leadership or team lead capacity. Proven hands-on skills in backend development (Java/Spring Boot, Python), frontend (Angular/React), and cloud infra (AWS/GCP). Experience in early-stage startups, or a true entrepreneurial mindset with zero fear of ambiguity. Strong system design and architecture thinking — can build for today with an eye on scale. Prior experience working with AI/ML teams with latest AI agentic models, MCP servers is a huge plus. Ability to roll up your sleeves, write code, debug performance issues, and ship fixes fast.
