Job Title: Sales Associate – Planterie (Plant Studio & Café) Location: Panchseel, New Delhi Type: Full-time Working Hours: 6 days/week, 10:00 AM – 8 PM

About Planterie:

Planterie is a plant store and café. We offer potted plants, plant gifts, terrariums, workshops, and greening services. Customers can also have light snacks and drinks from our cafe. We’re known for our serene space, attentive service, and meaningful customer experiences.

About the Role:

As a Sales Associate at Planterie, your job is to help customers find what they love, guide them through plant choices and care, and ensure the store floor is always looking its best. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team, helping with both customer-facing and backend tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

• Greet walk-in customers and guide them through our plants, pots, gifts, and services
• Understand customer needs and make thoughtful recommendations
• Assist customers in choosing plants that suit their home, office, or gifting purpose
• Explain basic plant care instructions in simple terms
• Help customers during billing and packaging

Store Operations

• Ensure all display shelves are clean and beautifully arranged
• Dust and wipe plant leaves, restock pots and products on display
• Assist with basic potting and tagging of plants when needed
• Keep the store neat, organized, and welcoming throughout the day

Billing & Inventory Support

• Assist at the billing counter and on the POS system (training will be given)
• Tag products with prices and SKUs, help with stock arrangement
• Flag low-stock items to the store manager

Who You Are:

• Friendly, dependable, and respectful with a calm presence
• Enjoy interacting with people and helping them make good choices
• Have 1–2 years experience in retail, boutique stores, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
• Fluent in Hindi; basic spoken English is a plus
• Comfortable handling plants or willing to learn
• Open to learning basic digital tools (POS, Google Sheets)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
