Job Title: Sales Assistant

Location: Gurugram

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant to support our sales team and ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, sending proposals, managing purchase orders, preparing presentations, and following up with clients regarding payments and related activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales operations while contributing to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quotation Preparation:
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for clients based on product or service requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure quotations meet client specifications and budget constraints.
  • Proposal Preparation:
  • Assist in drafting and sending professional proposals to potential and existing clients.
  • Customize proposals as needed, ensuring clarity and alignment with client needs.
  • Purchase Order Management:
  • Receive and process purchase orders from clients, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Communicate with relevant departments (e.g., operations, logistics) to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Client Communication:
  • Proactively call and email clients for payment follow-ups in a polite and professional manner.
  • Maintain a detailed record of payment statuses and escalate overdue payments to management as required.
  • Presentation Preparation:
  • Prepare sales presentations using company templates or customized materials for client meetings.
  • Ensure presentations are visually appealing, clear, and in line with the company’s branding and messaging.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Manage/Record client interactions, update records, and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Assist in maintaining client files and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Support the sales team by providing necessary information and materials for client meetings.
  • Work closely with other departments (such as accounting and logistics) to ensure smooth order and payment processing.
  • General Sales Support:
  • Assist with any ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed to support the sales process.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge to answer basic client inquiries and assist in sales efforts.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally in a sales environment.

Education & Experience:

  • High school/ diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus).
  • 1-10 years of experience in sales assistance, customer service, or administrative support.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prepare professional documents and presentations using software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales-related tools is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a quick learner.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
