Introduction:
The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Strategist at Global Foundries will support the strategic alignment of supply and demand across our global businesses. Reporting to the Supply chain manager, this position plays a critical role in supporting S&OP metrics and Master Production Schedule (MPS) publication. Be a contributor to our overall supply chain transformation and is on a high visibility team. An exciting Supply Chain opportunity, at an exciting time, at an exciting company. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, background with building reporting and dashboards with minimal direction, KPI management and experience with the MPS .
Job Responsibilities:
Work on various continuous improvement projects in systems such as Kinaxis
Manage monthly deliverables for the MPS and continuously work to improve the output of the MPS publication
Work with cross functional teams to make sure MPS publication output is accurate and has minimal errors
Ability to take large amounts of data and consolidate to one usable working view for various cross functional teams
Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain and create supply chain metrics to continue to improve the overall operations business
Partner with the S&OP strategic lead to prepare materials for cross-functional alignment meetings and executive reviews
Support S&OP team on escalations and ask for the S&OP cycle and process
Collaborate closely with the Supply Planning and Demand Planning teams to achieve revenue targets
Partner with Supply Planning to address scenarios such as LOT (Left on Table) and white spaces (unused capacities), ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual revenue targets
Identify and highlight supply and capacity gaps during executive reviews, and seek support from leadership to resolve these issues
Prepare RPM calendar with detailed tasks for a financial year
Work closely with the IT team to ensure timely refresh of all revenue-related reports, avoiding delays
Coordinate with the IT team on system enhancements, from design through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
