About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Business Development professional with 46 years of experience in the imported capital goods industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure in industrial sales, client acquisition, channel management, and promoting high-value machinery/equipment to manufacturing customers.

This is a priority hiring requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales, business development, and market penetration for

    imported capital equipment

    across the assigned region.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs, manufacturing units, and large industrial clients.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation technical discussion product demo negotiation order closure.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Work closely with the technical/application engineering team to propose suitable solutions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated on market trends, pricing, and customer needs.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events as required.

Candidate Profile

  • 46 years of proven experience in Sales & BD of imported capital goods (must-have).
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery/equipment (electronics manufacturing machines, automation, SMT, robotics, or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and high-ticket products.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent customer visits within region.

Preferred Locations

Ahmedabad, Sanand, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi/NCR, or broader Gujarat region.

Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics) preferred.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing is an advantage.
