Key Responsibilities

RPA-specific testing needs.

Collaborate closely with RPA developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and ensure testability of RPA bots and workflows.

Understand and work with RPA documentation

Identify, log, and track software defects using tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla; ensure that bugs specific to RPA processes are captured effectively.

Review automation test scripts, provide feedback on peer code, and help maintain the test automation framework for both standard applications and RPA processes.

Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI, ensuring seamless deployment of RPA bots alongside other applications.

Perform manual testing when required to validate end-to-end RPA workflows and non-automated scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Analyze test results for both application and bot performance, generate clear reports, and provide insights on software and bot quality.

Stay up to date with industry best practices in QA automation, RPA testing, and emerging technologies relevant to the banking domain.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

experience as a QA Engineer (manual and/or automation)

Hands-on RPA QA experience is essential; should be familiar with RPA terminology, documentation (PDD, SDD), and RPA project lifecycle.

Minimum 3+ years in a QA or Business Analyst role, preferably in the Banking domain.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail for identifying defects in both applications and bots.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across QA, RPA, and business teams.

Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Good understanding of SQL for database validations.

Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application testing.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for testing applications hosted on cloud environments.
