Job Description: Rooms Division Executive

Hotel Raviraj, Pune

Overview

The Rooms Division Executive at Hotel Raviraj, Pune, will be responsible for managing the overall operations concerning Guest Services, Front Office, Housekeeping, and related areas to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role includes supervising departmental staff, optimizing profitability, upholding service standards, and coordinating with other hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all operations in the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Guest Relations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to ensure excellence in guest service, smooth check-in/check-out procedures, and prompt guest request handling.
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage inventories, room allocation, and occupancy to maximize revenue and yield management opportunities.
  • Ensure that public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas are clean, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with the Maintenance and Engineering departments to address and rectify any issues impacting room quality.
  • Implement and enforce hotel policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations in all guest areas.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports, guest satisfaction metrics, and budgetary forecasts for the Rooms Division.
  • Coordinate VIP arrivals and departures, ensuring all special requirements are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments (Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Security) for flawless guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety, and company standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in rooms division or Front Office operations, preferably in a hotel.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Good command of English and local languages.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in a managerial capacity in a similar hotel environment.
  • Familiarity with local hospitality trends and guest preferences in Pune.
  • Energetic, presentable, and keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
