Job Description

We are hiring a Rooftop Sales Manager to join our team at Strolar Mounting Systems Pvt. Ltd. This role, based in Noida, requires a minimum of 2 years in Solar structure and 5 years of experience in solar (preferably medium or large-scale).

Responsibilities

Mentor junior sales engineers, improve sales pitch quality, and boost closure rates
  • Understand engineering constraints: loading parameters, dead load restrictions, roof slope/orientation, waterproofing
  • Collaborate with design and structural teams to deliver site-specific solutions for commercial/industrial rooftops
  • Prepare BOQs, layout approvals, and pre-bid design documents
  • Recommend solutions based on site layout, aesthetics, space usage, and maintenance needs
  • Own the sales cycle from lead generation to project delivery, coordinating with internal teams
  • Understand and apply pricing models (per kW, per MT, per sq. ft.) and identify key cost drivers
  • Lead commercial discussions, structure offers, negotiate payment terms, and close deals profitably
  • Track and respond to local policy developments, net metering changes, and regional solar incentives (India, Middle East)
  • Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, solar developers, and rooftop integrators.

Required Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in the solar industry, including 2+ years in solar mounting structures
  • Technical + commercial understanding (design + client handling)
  • Experience in the C&I rooftop solar segment preferred
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Capable of managing multi-functional coordination with design, logistics, and project teams

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Renewable Energy.
  • Preferred: MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Operations
