Job Description

Essential Capabilities

Uplifting of risk management practices for interconnectivity of processes, controls, obligations and risks
Support for key business activity including Risk Reviews, Risk Reporting etc.
Demonstrate ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency and productivity
Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.

Experience

12+ years’ financial institution experience – preferably working in risk management (or eagerness to learn)
Understanding of ‘Operational Risk’ practices, e.g. obligations, risks and controls frameworks Audit background
Governance and Reporting experience
Technical dexterity – using excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Qualification

Tertiary or Post Graduate Degree in Risk, Finance, Commerce, or Law or related discipline
