About The Role

We are looking for a skilled

RF Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in RF front-end design, analysis, and testing for IoT/embedded wireless products. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of RF components, simulation tools, and test/measurement equipment, along with experience working on end-to-end RF development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize RF front-end modules for IoT and wireless communication devices.
  • Work with RF components such as power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, duplexers, filters, and RF switches.
  • Perform RF-related analyses including SNR vs BER evaluations, EVM analysis, link budget analysis, and signal integrity checks.
  • Support RF simulation and validation using tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, etc.
  • Collaborate with hardware and PCB design teams for RF PCB layout, impedance matching, and design optimization.
  • Conduct RF testing using VNA, VSG, VSA, spectrum analyzers, and ensure proper RF calibration.
  • Troubleshoot RF performance issues and work on tuning/optimization for compliance and certification.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and design reviews.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, RF front-end architecture, and IoT communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PA, LNA, filters, duplexers, mixers, and RF switching components.
  • Proficiency in RF testing methodologies and equipment handling (VSA, VSG, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer).
  • Knowledge of RF calibration, RF chain debugging, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in RF analysis: SNR, BER, EVM, linearity, noise figure, return loss, insertion loss, etc.
  • Exposure to RF simulation tools such as ADS/AWR; knowledge of RF PCB design concepts (impedance control, grounding, routing).
  • Good understanding of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, BLE, LTE, NB-IoT, ZigBee, UWB, etc.) is a plus.
