Job Description

As the Director, Sales Operations and Enablement at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial leadership role in directing and controlling activities related to sales tools, processes, knowledge, and enablement. Your main responsibilities will include: - Defining and driving the execution of critical sales enablement initiatives across the assigned geography. - Making sound and timely business decisions to drive short term and long-term performance. - Providing leadership in presales support, quality assurance, training, and leading the execution of the sales management system to enhance sales performance. - Acting as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and teams by delivering consistent and valuable training and coaching interventions. - Improving sales performance by driving and implementing continuous improvement of processes, technology, and methodologies. - Ensuring the implementation of enabling activities such as tools, processes, and methods. - Identifying and driving continuous improvements to current processes and methods. - Providing expert knowledge and skills that enable successful customer business outcomes. - Working with sales leaders to optimize sales onboarding, training, and coaching. - Advising on and tracking sales metrics, driving accuracy and providing related reporting. - Ensuring the delivery of content and communicating marketing and sales collateral. - Overseeing opportunity/pipeline management, forecasting, predictive analytics, and providing sales intelligence information. - Participating in the development of projects and programs that drive sales effectiveness. To thrive in this role, you will need to have: - Significant understanding of a vast range of IT operations and service offerings. - Demonstrable significant knowledge and understanding of the IT industry environment and business needs. - Significant strategic and operational team leadership skills. - Significant business and commercial acumen. - Significant collaboration skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels. - Significant knowledge of the client environment. - Significant understanding of sales environments and ability to grasp challenges facing the sales force. - Significant ability to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Significant understanding of solution selling concepts and sales process design. - Significant problem analysis and solution formulation skills. - Demonstrates learning and service orientation. Academic qualifications and certifications required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, sales, or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as SPIN and Solution Selling are desirable. Required experience: - Significant level of relevant experience in a similar role within a related environment. - Significant previous experience operationally managing a sales operations/effectiveness team. - Significant experience dealing with stakeholders to influence sales. - Significant strategic and solid operational planning experience. - Substantial budget and financial management experience.
