Role: Retail Inventory Planner Location: Mumbai Experience: 5–7 years Industry Preference: Fashion / Jewelry / Beauty We are looking for a sharp and analytical Retail Inventory Planner to lead OTB and inventory planning across our offline stores and digital channels. The ideal candidate brings strong retail math, data interpretation skills, and hands-on experience managing inventory in an omnichannel setup—preferably in the fashion, jewelry, or beauty space. Key Responsibilities OTB & Demand Planning Build and manage Open-to-Buy plans aligned with sales targets and category strategy. Use historical data and trends to project demand and optimize inventory levels. Inventory Management Maintain ideal stock levels across platforms. Coordinate timely replenishments, control over/under-stocking, and ensure inventory health across channels. Assortment & Allocation Collaborate with Buying & Merchandising to curate channel-specific assortments. Strategically allocate stock based on regional trends and store performance. Sales & Business Analysis Track sell-through, identify gaps, and generate actionable insights. Present reports that drive informed decisions on product lifecycle and replenishment. Promotions & Markdowns Partner with Marketing to plan effective promotions and markdown strategies, evaluating their impact on sales and margins. Cross-functional Coordination Act as the planning bridge across Buying, Merch, Marketing, and Ops to ensure aligned execution and retail success. Ideal Candidate Profile 5–7 years of experience in retail inventory planning Strong command over OTB planning, demand forecasting, and sales analysis Prior experience with omnichannel inventory preferred Advanced Excel & retail analytics tools proficiency Fashion, Jewelry, or Beauty background strongly preferred Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
