Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort’s restaurant(s), ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. This role demands excellent leadership, team development, and financial management skills. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming and refined dining experience that reflects the resort’s luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant operations including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by monitoring service delivery, guest feedback, and staff performance.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure menu quality, timely service, and coordination.
  • Manage reservations, guest seating, and ensure smooth table turnover.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control of restaurant supplies, beverages, and equipment.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the restaurant.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Plan and execute special dining events, seasonal promotions, and themed nights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a hotel/resort or fine-dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of food & beverage trends, service techniques, and guest preferences.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software (POS, reservations systems, etc.).
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Flexible to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in training and developing service staff.
  • Ability to manage multicultural teams in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
