Role Overview

We are seeking a warm, professional, and customer-focused Restaurant Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Hostess will be responsible for greeting customers, managing reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring guests enjoy a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Reception: Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they enter.
• Reservations Management: Handle phone calls, online bookings, and walk-ins, maintaining an accurate reservation log.
• Seating Coordination: Manage table allocations efficiently to optimize restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.
• Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, resolve minor concerns, and provide information about the menu and services.
• Coordination: Work closely with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
• Ambience Maintenance: Ensure the front desk and waiting area are neat, organized, and reflect Barkaas’ hospitality standards.
• Feedback Handling: Collect and relay guest feedback to management for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience (1–3 years) as a hostess, front desk associate, or customer service role in hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional during busy hours.
• Basic computer and reservation system knowledge.
• Minimum qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management preferred.
