Restaurant Captain

The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, and delivering an excellent dining experience to guests. The role includes leading service staff, coordinating with the kitchen, handling guest requests, and maintaining service quality in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant service during shifts
• Welcome guests warmly and ensure their comfort and satisfaction
• Assign tables and manage reservations efficiently
• Guide and train waiters and service staff on service standards
• Take orders when required and ensure accurate order delivery
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service operations
• Handle guest complaints politely and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas
• Monitor service timing and quality throughout service hours
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene, and safety standards
• Assist in billing, cash handling, and closing procedures when required

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in food & beverage service
• Prior experience as a Senior Waiter or Captain is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.83 - ₹19,000.00 per month
