we are looking for a proactive, ownership-driven
Resource Management SME
to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of external consultants while also supporting resource management activities. This role will act as the single point of contact between subcontracting agencies, internal project partners, consultants, and the RM team, ensuring seamless hiring, onboarding, allocation support, performance tracking, and commercial & contract management.
The Opportunity
- Vendor & Sub-Contracting Agency Management:
- Build and manage a strong subcontracting partner ecosystem.
- Research, evaluate, onboard, and govern subcontracting agencies based on capability and performance.
- Act as the single point of contact for all staffing agencies and vendors.
- Maintain regular communication with agencies on open roles, pipelines, feedback, contracts, invoicing, and consultant performance.
- Create and maintain an agency repository capturing skill strengths and performance metrics.
- External Consultant Hiring & Coordination:
- Share open roles with agencies in a timely manner.
- Collect, review, and share consultant profiles with project partners.
- Coordinate interviews and ensure timely feedback.
- Manage the hiring process end-to-end with transparency and efficiency.
- Resource Management Support:
- Support demand-supply alignment for both external and internal resources, as and when required.
- Work closely with the Resource Management (RM) team to support allocations, movements, and transitions.
- Track allocation, availability, utilization, extensions, and replacements of subcontracted resources.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of resource management concepts including allocations, utilization, and forecasting.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management:
- Build strong working relationships with internal project and delivery teams.
- Track consultant performance on projects and manage escalations.
- Support contract extensions, replacements, and exits.
- Contracting, Commercials & Operations
- Create consultant contracts and manage signoffs with all parties.
- Negotiate rates with agencies. Manage invoices, validation, renewals, and timelines.
- Own end-to-end onboarding of external consultants, including system access and timesheet enablement.
Your Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in resource management, subcontracting, vendor management, or contract hiring.
- Strong understanding of resource management, allocations, and utilization concepts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in IT/technology consulting environments (Preferred SAP experience).
