Career Defence School operates campuses in Ambala, Patiala, and Yamunanagar, each offering specialized education tailored to prepare students for defense-related examinations and careers English Teacher- (Residential Staff) As an English Teacher at a Residential Career Defense School, you will be responsible for instructing students in communication skills that are essential for success in defense-related careers. This includes improving literacy, enhancing writing, speaking, and critical thinking abilities, and preparing students for military communication tasks such as writing reports, briefings, and official correspondence. Responsibilities: Teaching English Language and Literature: Provide instruction in the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills. Public Speaking and Debate: Develop students' oral communication skills by encouraging public speaking, debating, and leadership communication tasks that are often required in defense roles. Critical Thinking and Analysis: Encourage critical thinking through the analysis of literature, military texts, and current events relevant to defense and leadership. Mentoring Students: Serve as a mentor for students, offering academic and personal guidance, fostering leadership qualities, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress through written assignments, exams, oral presentations, and debates, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their communication skills. Residential Responsibilities: Act as a resident staff member, supporting students outside of class through evening study sessions, personal development, and maintaining discipline in the dormitory. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree & Master's degree in English, English Education, or a related field. Experience in teaching English, with a focus on communication skills, writing, and public speaking. Chemistry Teacher (Residential Staff) As a Chemistry Teacher at a Residential Career Defence School, you will be responsible for teaching students the foundational and advanced concepts of chemistry & You will also be involved in laboratory activities and safety protocols, preparing students for roles where scientific knowledge is crucial to the defense industry. Responsibilities: Instruction in Chemistry: Provide lessons on general and advanced chemistry topics, including atomic structure, chemical reactions, materials science, and environmental chemistry. Laboratory Work: Supervise and guide students in hands-on laboratory experiments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress through written tests, quizzes, lab reports, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding of chemistry concepts. Promoting Safe Laboratory Practices: Ensure that students follow strict safety protocols in the chemistry lab. Residential Responsibilities: As part of the residential staff, supervise students outside of the classroom, guiding them through study sessions, activities, and ensuring a structured environment in the dorms. Qualifications: Bachelor’s & master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Experience in teaching chemistry, including practical laboratory work. Physics Teacher (Residential Staff) As a Physics Teacher at a Residential Career Defence School, you will be responsible for teaching students fundamental and applied physics concepts & You will work with students to develop problem-solving skills, enhance their understanding of physical law. Responsibilities: Physics Instruction: Teach foundational and advanced physics topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, optics, and modern physics. Practical Application: Organize and lead practical experiments, demonstrations, and simulations to help students understand the physical principles. Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student progress through written exams, quizzes, practical tests, and assignments, providing detailed feedback on areas of improvement. Mentorship: Act as a mentor to students, offering guidance on academic and personal development while fostering teamwork, leadership, and a disciplined work ethic essential for defense careers. Residential Responsibilities: Supervise and support students outside of class, maintaining discipline and helping with their academic progress in the dormitory. This may include supervising evening study sessions or helping students with personal development. Safety Protocols: Ensure that all physics experiments are conducted safely, following appropriate protocols for handling equipment and materials. Qualifications: Bachelor’s & master's degree in Physics or a related field. Ability to work in a structured environment that requires discipline and mentorship. Common Responsibilities for All Teachers in a Residential Career Defence School: Disciplinary Leadership: As part of the residential staff, all teachers will play a role in maintaining discipline, structure, and fostering positive behavior among students, including supervising students in dormitories and during extracurricular activities. Mentorship and Personal Development: Support students in their academic and personal growth, helping them develop leadership qualities, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of responsibility, all of which are critical for careers in defense. Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with other staff members, including military instructors and residential staff, to ensure that the curriculum aligns with the school's defence focus and that students receive a holistic education. Active Engagement in School Activities: Participate in extracurricular activities, field trips, military training, and other events that contribute to students’ personal and professional development in a defense setting. Adherence to Safety and Security Protocols: Ensuring that all safety and security protocols are followed.
