Reservations Manager

Job Summary:

The Reservation Manager oversees all reservation operations to ensure maximum occupancy, revenue optimization, and excellent guest experience. The role manages the reservations team, handles booking channels, ensures accuracy of data, and coordinates with other departments to deliver seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:1. Reservation Operations

• Supervise daily reservation activities including calls, emails, OTA bookings, and corporate requests.
• Ensure accurate room blocking, rate codes, and booking confirmations.
• Maintain updated availability in PMS, CRS, and online channels.
• Handle VIP, group bookings, and special requests.

2. Revenue & Inventory Management

• Work closely with the Revenue Manager to control room inventory and rate strategy.
• Monitor booking trends, no-show patterns, and cancellation behavior.
• Ensure proper implementation of pricing, promotions, and package updates.

3. Customer Service

• Provide prompt and professional responses to guest inquiries.
• Resolve booking-related complaints and ensure smooth pre-arrival communication.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy and guest satisfaction throughout the reservation process.

4. Team Leadership

• Train, guide, and supervise the reservation team.
• Implement SOPs and ensure staff follow company standards.
• Monitor team performance and conduct regular meetings.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales for seamless operations.
• Ensure all reservations are correctly input, tracked, and updated.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in reservations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of PMS/CRS systems (Opera, IDS, Protel, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
