Research Scientist

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Scientist with expertise in electrochemical systems, and advanced materials characterization technique. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of novel electrochemical systems for different applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and perform experiments related to hydrogen/ammonia generation, including synthesis, performance testing, and optimization of electrocatalysts.
• Develop and maintain electrochemical testing setups (e.g., LSV, CV, EIS, chronoamperometry).
• Conduct detailed materials characterization using techniques including XRD, SEM, BET, FTIR, mechanical testing and thermal analysis as per requirements.
• Analyze data, draw conclusions, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including materials scientists, chemists, and engineers.
• Contribute to publications, patents, and research proposals.
• Developed protype.

Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience in ammonia electrosynthesis or nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) is highly desirable.
• Strong background in electrochemical techniques and principles.
• Proven experience with XRD, SEM, TEM, and related analytical instrumentation.
• Familiarity with catalyst synthesis methods (e.g., sol-gel, hydrothermal, electrodeposition) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation and scientific writing.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced research environment.
