Job Profile The candidate should have an understanding of energy policies, social science research, energy economics, and gender-inclusive practices in the energy sector, along with relevant prior experience in these domains: 1. Electric Mobility: EV policies, regulations, and market trends, focusing on their socio-economic and gender-inclusive impacts. 2. Energy Transition & Renewable Energy Integration: Global energy transition trends and their implications for the electricity sector, with a focus on policy and regulatory dimensions. Socio-economic challenges of integrating variable renewable energy sources and explore policy-driven solutions such as storage and grid flexibility. 3. Just transition: Addressing socio-economic challenges of decarbonization empowering communities, integrating variable renewable energy sources and carrying out impact analysis to design effective community outreach and skilling initiatives. 4. Stakeholder engagement: Partnering with various stakeholders and dialoguing for customization, accessible vehicle models, EV adoption and dissemination. Experience 0 - 4 Years Qualification - Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Economics/Social Science/Public Policy/Sustainable Development/Engineering or having 3 years of research- design & development experience after Post Graduate degree in a related field. Prior experience in the power/renewable energy/EV sector with social sector understanding is preferable. Skills - Knowledge of social science research methodologies- policy analysis- and impact assessment. - Familiarity with energy economics- sustainable development goals (SDGs)- gender mainstreaming in energy systems and targeted community action. Strong skills in Excel and Power-BI for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and writing abilities. Location Delhi Salary As per norms Please apply latest by May 15, 2025
