About Us

Open Links Foundation is a non-profit organisation working to strengthen the government school ecosystem to make government schools aspirational for all. OLF aims to improve the quality of education in government schools by (a) supporting and motivating teachers, and (b) partnering with district administration to improve program implementation efficiency for academic and life skills programs executed in schools.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research and Fundraising Associate to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Head of Research and Fundraising to support donor communications, research for grant proposals, and strategic outreach. This dynamic role lets you learn fast, take ownership of key projects, and directly contribute to scaling our impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft compelling grant proposals, donor reports, and fundraising communications
• Conduct research to support the enhancement of program offerings in government schools
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and support the submission of donor documents
• Support donor relationship management and coordinate follow-ups
• Collaborate across teams to gather program data and case studies
• Take initiative in identifying new opportunities and potential partnerships
• Help in developing our communication strategy to sustain funding long-term (including funders, partners, and policy trends)

Who You Are

• An excellent writer, with strong communication and synthesis skills
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks
• A quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment
• Detail-oriented, organised, and self-driven
• Ideally someone with 1–3 years of experience in research, communications, or fundraising (but we’re open to exceptional freshers too)
• Passionate about social impact and excited to contribute to real, systemic change

Salary Range

₹25,000–₹35,000 per month, commensurate with experience
