PureCheck (India) Pvt. Ltd is engaged in process and product development in the domain of biobased fine and specialty chemicals for food, pharma, cosmetics and other industrial applications. Candidate Role: The R&D Executive will play a crucial role in the process development activities of PureCheck. This individual will be responsible for independently setting up and conducting experiments related to the oleochemicals, natural products and other biochemicals. The role involves a range of research activities, including literature surveys, planning and executing reactions, documenting findings, and maintaining laboratory work-specific data. The ideal candidate should be able to work systematically and in a time-bound manner to generate timely and accurate data. Couple of years experience in the instrumental and classical analysis of oleochemicals is necessary for this position. Responsibilities: Independently design and execute experiments related to the chemical synthesis of oleochemicals and other biochemicals. Conduct thorough literature surveys to stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field. Plan and carry out chemical reactions, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols. Accurately record and maintain detailed documentation of experiments, observations, and results. Analyze and interpret experimental data to draw meaningful conclusions. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with other team members on research projects. Contribute to the development of new and innovative biobased products and processes. Potentially assist in the analysis of oleochemicals, starch, molasses, and related processing and synthesis, if experienced. Qualifications: Education: M.Sc.by research in Organic Chemistry/ Oleo-chemistry Experience: Analysis and processing of oleochemicals. Technical Skills:  Strong understanding of organic chemistry principles and laboratory techniques. Proficiency in chemical synthesis and experimental design. Ability to conduct literature surveys and analyze scientific information. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Good data analysis and interpretation skills. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and reporting skills. A proactive and results-oriented approach. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
