Job Title: Scrum Master Reports to: Manager, Project Management Location: Mumbai Experience: 4-5 years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Agile team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Scrum framework, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams. The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Scrum processes, removing impediments, and ensuring that the team is working efficiently and effectively to deliver value. Key Responsibilities: Scrum Framework Expertise: Provide expertise and guidance on Scrum framework, principles, and practices to teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Team Coaching: Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to adopt and improve Scrum practices, ensuring that teams are self-organizing, empowered, and aligned with organizational goals. Facilitation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, to ensure that teams are following Scrum principles and practices. Impediment Removal: Identify, analyze, and remove impediments that block team progress, collaborating with teams, stakeholders, and leadership to resolve issues and improve processes. Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve Scrum processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase team efficiency, productivity, and quality. Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure alignment of the team’s work with business goals. Lead communication and reporting to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes of the Scrum teams. Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics to measure team performance, providing insights and recommendations to teams and stakeholders to improve processes and outcomes. Agile Transformation: Participate in Agile transformation initiatives, collaborating with Agile coaches, teams, and stakeholders to implement Agile practices and principles across the organization. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate teams, stakeholders, and leadership on Scrum framework, principles, and practices. Requirements: Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification, with a strong understanding of Scrum framework, principles, and practices. Experience: 5 - 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully facilitating Scrum teams and improving team performance. Communication: Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Coaching: Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams to adopt and improve Scrum practices. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Agile Tools: Experience with Agile tools, such as Azure ADO, with the ability to configure and customize tools to support team needs. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong understanding of software development principles and practices. Nice to Have: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification Kanban or Lean experience Experience with DevOps practices Experience with cloud-based Agile tools Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall or Hybrid
