Role & responsibilities Provide technical advisory, guidance, and strategic input for ongoing and upcoming engineering and infrastructure projects. Review and validate technical designs, project specifications, and tender documents in line with PSU and government standards. Offer expert consultation on plant operations, maintenance, and equipment performance improvement . Assist in feasibility studies, cost estimation, and process optimization across technical functions. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards as followed in PSUs. Support management in decision-making for technology adoption, vendor evaluation, and risk mitigation. Participate in technical audits, inspections, and progress reviews of field projects. Collaborate with internal teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions. Mentor and guide junior engineers or project managers to share best practices from PSU experience. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely execution and technical excellence of projects. Provide inputs for policy formulation, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer within the organization. Maintain liaison with relevant government departments, contractors, and industry partners where required.
