A Snapshot of Your Day:

General Repair & Maintenance Engineering focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including. Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications. Performing engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts. Liaising with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules. Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• The candidate shall be responsible for review and finalize fact finding inspection, repairs and
• recommendations reports for all types of compression products ensuring that it meets Siemens energy
• quality requirements within agreed timeline.
• The candidate shall be responsible for developing latest repair procedures in co-ordination with subject
• matter expert team from product competency centres to meet customer expectations and market
• requirements ensuring that it meets Siemens energy quality guidelines within agreed timeline.
• The candidate must have exhaustive experience in analysis of basic failure causes, expertise knowledge and
• skill of restoration process in turbo machinery. He shall well verse in API codes applicable on repair
• requirements. He must have experience of legacy and other OEM turbo machines.
• Candidates need to visit customer sites as well vendor places to have technical discussions at proposal and
• execution stages.
• The candidate shall be expert in dismantling and assembling of impellers and related parts of siemens energy
• design with desired accuracy and preciseness.
• The candidate must have deep understanding of engineering drawings, geometrical tolerances, bill of
• material and materials required for repair execution
• Coordinate with shop supervisor and team for on going repair jobs.
• The candidate shall have hands on experience on repairing of non-OEM compression products.

What You Bring:

• Diploma / graduation in mechanical engineering from reputed institute.
• Minimum 25 years’ experience in repairing of compression products.
• Experience in 2D / 3D drafting skill
